June 29th journal entry – God provides all needs! (financial testimony)

2 days ago I had $870.00 in my YWAM account for outreach all from donors around YWAM like Jessica and Valerie and in my DTS and some people back home like Jim and Paul and Shirley. They are so obedient to God and loving to me and one another I am so blessed to know them. Such big hearts!

I still needed about $4000ish at the time and was in the Ohana court worshiping and starting to feel discouraged wondering how $4000 would appear… Everyone around me kept praying for blessings and reminding me that I am a key member on the team and that they need me which really made me feel good. At that time, I saw something on the ground that was an empty bank wrap for $2000 and took it as a sign to expect $2000 to come in some how.

Then my brother and sister in Christ, Chad and Karen said to me they wanted to bless me with $200 and I was thinking wow I am so blessed to have this family back home. But then Chad told me that he was getting together with the Guys from LOJ men’s group who knew me but not very well, and they were contending for me to go and they wanted to support me! I was sitting in amazement that people who barely knew me wanted to bless me to go share the Gospel to unreached people groups.

Later, Chad called me and told me that they put together almost $1700!!!! These are men that knew me for only a short time and just wanted to give because they love unconditionally and want to do Gods work! I was totally blown away and still am by their selfless generosity…. This is my family and I am more then blessed to have them in my life!

So I am walking around the fountain at the university and praising God, praying and thanking Him for being such an amazing God. That sign was for real from God but that was just the beginning of Gods fun.

At this point I needed about $2300 and then the next incredible thing happened. Jordan Frey, a friend of my outreach leader said that he wanted to bless someone on my team with some money and so my leader told him about me and that I was the only one on the team in need and so she said to add him on Facebook and chat.

As I was adding him, my roommate Alex’s parents Karla and Jim said them wanted to bless me and they deposited $200 into my account! Then I spoke with Jordan and he said that he wanted to give me the additional $2000 if I could raise the other $300! Well since $200 was just deposited, I only needed $100!
I started crying and laughing and dancing all at the same time! Barrage of emotions all at once…
I told my brother Isaac and he instantly said that he would cover the additional $100!! I can’t believe how amazing everyone in my life is and how much I am loved by them and by God. He reveals His unconditional love for me every day in different ways. He is so faithful.
His timing is perfect.

Excited, I went and told the whole world that I AM GOING ON OUTREACH! They all praised God with me and my leader called to buy the plane ticket. Unfortunately the ticket price went up a bit so I needed another small sum of money but I knew God had someone in mind for that. I didn’t have any worries.

Chad started talking to people and that night told me that after talking with Alex and Lawrence from LOJ and letting them know my situation, they both wanted to help and so Lawrence gave everything he had on him even change lol and Alex said that He was waiting on God to give him a number, which ended up being exactly the amount I needed!
So I got the additional amount needed and now I am laying here writing this is total awe of my God. He is so good..

When you buy a train ticket, you don’t give it to the ticket taker before you board. You give it to him just as you board the train. In the same way, God doesn’t always give you what you need before you need it. Instead it is exactly on time as you need it. When you ask for more faith, God gives you an opportunity to be faithful so that it can grow.

  1. Just stumbled upon this post! I am about to embark on a DTS and am in need one enormous miracle in terms of financial provision. This is so encouraging, even 2 years later! Trusting God with the impossible. Thanks so much for sharing 🙂
