My wife Amber, 2 children Hezekiah, Malachi and I are part of a Christian missions organization called YWAM (Youth With A Mission) which focuses on training people up to go out into the world and preach the gospel of Jesus. We desire to love and help those in need, pray for the sick, and be a light to the world, making God known.

We live in a rural area of southern Taiwan and we have a passion for hospitality, teaching the Bible, and helping families! God called us to move our lives here and invest long term into the community, serve the Taiwanese and share the gospel.

Part of what we do here is we have frequent discovery Bible studies at our house where we invite the local community in for a meal together that we provide, then talk with each other about the Bible, our needs, thankfulness and pray for one another while seeking to help each other practically as well. It is open to both Christians and this who don’t know Jesus yet. As of March 2024 we are preparing to plant a house church in our home starting in the beginning of 2025. Until then, we are renovating and raising support for church supplies and for the church to run smoothly each month. Our need for the church as of now is still $150/month more than what we have currently and this will be updated when the need is met.

We feel that our ministry here really is all about building individual relationships one at a time and just loving on them, speaking truth and meeting the practical needs that they have. We have a long term mindset which is so important for doing ministry in Taiwan because it is so rare to see quick life decisions in regard to the gospel. When someone accepts Jesus here, they are often risking losing their entire family as a result of that decision so we want to be here to show them that they are welcomed into a Kingdom family that is deeper even than blood. It is a family united by Christ’s blood.

We do plenty of various activities to reach and encourage those around us but we want to remember to stay aware of what God is saying in each moment, allowing our lives and plans to be interrupted for the goal of sharing Jesus eternal love.

Amber and I love to play games, do art, explore new places and visit with friends. We love watching movies (when we have the time haha) and making food/snacks for people.

A big passion of ours is hospitality, so we have a house the we set up for singles or couples or groups of people to come stay with us, get rested, fed, encouraged and if they are eager to do so, go out with us to meet people and share the gospel. WE WELCOME YOU to come stay with us and see what God is doing in our small town.
