Hello again family and friends!
India had been wonderful thus far. We have been spending a lot of time with children and youth as well as college students. They speak English almost fluently so it is easy to communicate. I spoke at a ladies home the other day which was filled with women and I had the chance to encourage them. God gave me some words and it was easy to build them up. We are here for another week and then off to Imphal for a bit more. The ministry is quite different here as there are many people that know Jesus. It actually makes the environment very pleasant.
I love you all!

August 6
-we went to the hospital and prayed for the sick. To be honest I wasn’t really feeling a lot of energy today but when we arrived at the hospital and started praying, I got a burst of energy. We spent a couple hours there and then went home encouraged for tomorrow 🙂

-today I led team time with the team and we all wrote down encouragement for 2 others in the group at random and then read a couple chapters of the bible which we do every day. Then we spent about 20 minutes praying for people back home and in our lives that need healing, direction, salvation for family, better living situations, discipleship, etc. I have made an effort to pray for everyone who has asked me to in their situations and their friends and will continue to do so. I believe that no prayer has a shelf life and God hears us and doesn’t forget. He will answer in his perfect timing.
After team time, we went far down a mountain where we met some young boys and girls who are super cute and we taught them a song, prayed and made plans to come back and play with them more.
Later, we went to an old folks home and worshipped there with them listening. They didn’t understand English but they enjoyed it. We prayed for them individually and then sang and just hung out with them trying to communicate without language lol.. Not easy. I try to use sign language now and then and see if they understand or pick up on any of it.

-today I spoke for an hour in front of 55 girls at a Christian girls home. I shared a message about the gospel and it’s power and how Jesus evangelized. Then I shared a short testimony of Gods faith in my life.
It was a bit nerve racking at the start but God gave me the ability to keep speaking. I really enjoyed building them up and encouraging them and they even laughed at most of my jokes haha.
It took almost a week to prepare a short message but I was encouraged myself after hearing feedback from people. Also, someone recorded the first section of my message so I got to watch it too. My hair looks amazing by the way.
Aug 9th kids homes
-we visited 2 orphanages today one boys house and one girls house and like usual, the kids were adorable, loving, excited and creative!
We taught them how to break dance and then played with them in the field and they showed us how to fly kites that they made by hand. Then Jon and I spent most of the time throwing the kids in the air, shoulder ride and hanging them upside down by their ankles.
They had a great time and I loved spending time there. We all sang afterward and then went to the girls home.
There, we had lunch, then drew pictures with the girls and they taught me some of their language. There were 10 girls and 4 babies so it was very easy to have a fun time with all of them. That night we had a nice team dinner at déjà vu restaurant.
