A few weeks have gone by now in the leadership program I am doing and I am feeling humbled. I am struggling in some areas of the leadership school and in other areas I am flourishing. Humility is the key though and I am looking to be more humble but sometimes it is difficult.
Relationships have become better daily and I am always excited to grow in that area. Relationship is how it all started in the first place anyway right. The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit in relationship. So I might as well start there.
I have memorized the first chapter of Ephesians by heart now which has so much gold in it and we as a school will be memorizing more starting today. I recommend memorizing scripture as it gives you new revelations as you read over and over.
I have been serving in the community with children in schools doing tutoring and offering my help and support wherever needed on and off the campus. There is one boy named Taylor who connected with me and shared a lot of his life which included painful thoughts of suicide and depression. If you think of him, please pray for him and that his parents would encourage him more and even just say “good job Taylor”.
I have also finished a book and I am starting on another book today.
Over these weeks God has been focusing my attention on different matters regarding my growth before I move to Nepal. Something that has been brought up that would increase my growth immensely and prepare me for long term in Nepal is getting deeper into the word of God. There is a school with YWAM that has been brought to me multiple times called SBS (school of biblical studies) and after praying about it, I feel drawn to do this program and peace about it.
SBS is a school in Taiwan where we read through the bible 5 times and learn to understand Gods word deeply for the purpose of sharing the gospel to the nations. Included in this program is a portion where we go to Nepal and learn how to teach the gospel practically.
Please pray about that for me and let me know if God tells you anything.

The above website is a thorough overview of what SBS is.
I love you all and I am always amazed at how God uses scenarios to direct us from one place to another. This is one of those times. I am here in Kona but I am now feeling like God knew that getting me here would open a door for SBS. (Something that I had a fear of doing based on academic ability and finances)
Love is the answer.
Humility is the key.
God is faithful.
Love always and in Jesus,
