I’m still in Taiwan and I am excited for the next book we are studying. James!
I am starting with another ministry this week and it looks like I am going to be doing event planning and hosting at a cafe here in Taiwan called “The Rock” where we focus on teaching English for free using the gospel and they give free drinks and just love on the people of Taiwan. I am praying for fun ideas to get people involved and excited :).
Eternal perspective. -What does this mean to you?
-How does this perspective affect the way you live and handle situations in life if it does mean something to you?
-Does it affect your priorities?
-Does it affect how you deal with pain and suffering?
-Does it affect the way you share the gospel?
-Does this perspective help strengthen your faith?
In my own life, maintaining this perspective affects everything and I am constantly challenged to keep an eternal and biblical worldview. I want to encourage you to consider whatever situation you are in right now in an eternal way. How will this affect life eternally? Is what is happening currently going to last for eternity or is it short term?
In times of suffering and pain I am comforted in the understanding that Jesus has given me a free gift of eternal life in heaven with him and I know that he is the one most important part of my life which everything operates around. This changes any potential suffering I may face into pure joy and in him I am able to face anything, go anywhere he tells me, preach the gospel to anyone, and not worry about financial needs because God is always my provider and in eternity, money and material comforts and the things of this world will all pass away and mean nothing at all.
His words will never pass away though.
Therefore, I encourage you to consider life in an eternal way and live for what will last forever, not for the things that die and are forgotten.
God bless you!
